Classic Christmas Lighting
Classic Christmas Lighting is a family-owned holiday lighting company with 15 years of experience serving Kitchener-Waterloo, Cambridge and Guelph. The company runs a full-service offer spanning residential displays, commercial storefronts, tree wrapping and municipal rental programs.
Strengths
- Fifteen years of family-owned operation, a longer track record than many seasonal lighting companies.
- Full-service scope spans residential, commercial storefront and municipal or BIA rental lighting.
- Offers both rental and purchase-style installation, giving homeowners a choice in commitment level.
- Positions itself specifically on damage-free property care during installation and takedown.
Considerations
- Holiday lighting is strictly seasonal, so early booking helps secure a preferred install date.
- Commercial and municipal rental work alongside residential jobs means peak-season scheduling can fill quickly.
- As a seasonal specialist, this is not a year-round permanent lighting installer.
Best for
- Homeowners wanting a fully installed and removed holiday display
- Businesses or BIAs needing commercial storefront holiday lighting
- Anyone wanting professional tree wrapping or garland installation
- Homeowners who prefer a rental program over owning their own lights
What They Do
Classic Christmas Lighting installs custom residential holiday displays, commercial storefront lighting, professional tree wrapping, and full wreath and garland installation. The company also runs BIA and municipal rental programs, meaning it supplies and manages holiday lighting for business improvement areas and municipalities, a scope beyond typical residential-only installers. Fifteen years of family-owned operation gives the company one of the longer track records among regional holiday lighting specialists.
How They Work
The company positions itself around care for the property during installation and a record of on-time, damage-free service, which matters given how much holiday lighting work involves roofline and tree access. Both rental and installation models are offered, giving homeowners and businesses a choice between owning their display or renting it seasonally. Commercial and municipal work sits alongside residential jobs in the same season.
What Homeowners Say
One reviewer said the company transformed their home into something out of a holiday movie, describing the team as professional and fast with results that prompted neighbours to ask who did the work. Another customer, in their second year using the company, said they will never go back to doing it themselves and called the results worth every penny.
